Meadow Lakes is proud to be the inaugural Life Plan Community in the state of New Jersey. The concept was straightforward: a single campus providing all the necessities for an enriching, secure retirement, including comprehensive healthcare infrastructure for any eventuality. Today, we are excited that we’ve been providing exceptional care to seniors for 60 years!
Our History of Excellence in Senior Living
The 1960s were characterized by significant social upheaval and transformation. Among these changes was the emergence of the concept that one's later years should be free from concerns about future healthcare needs. This philosophy led to the establishment of Meadow Lakes. In 1965, we became the inaugural Life Plan Community in New Jersey and among the first in the United States. The site in East Windsor was selected for its impressive trees and tranquil lakes. Presently, these same grounds hold accreditation as an arboretum.
Our community was designed to serve active adults, recognizing the growing need for high-quality senior living Whiting, NJ, residents could trust. From our inception, we've maintained a practical, resident-centered approach to community life, consistently delivering exceptional service, lasting comfort, and an enhanced quality of life for our residents every single day.
