Security: Your Plan for the Future
The happiness of residents is one of our top priorities, and one way we aim for that is to offer the feeling of security within the community. At Meadow Lakes, we believe you should feel safe in your own home. Residents can feel secure now in knowing that we are prepared for an emergency should it come up and can feel secure in the future knowing their health needs will be met.
Community Safety Procedures and Precautions
Below, we’ve listed just a few ways we’ve currently set up plans and precautions within the community. We constantly look into ways to improve the reliability and effectiveness of our plans. And, of course, we’re always happy to listen to resident input.
Disaster Preparedness: The Springpoint team has a detailed action plan put in place in the event of a disaster that we communicate with residents and their families. We regularly revisit and update the procedures when necessary to give you the feeling of confidence you deserve.
Emergency Power: In the event of a storm or other extended power outage, we’ve increased onsite power. Our community has onsite generators and advanced arrangements for fuel supplies and backup generators to keep the community up and running in the event of lost power.
Emergency Communications: Communication is key in the event of an emergency situation. That’s why we’ve set up emergency communication systems through voice, text and email messages to ensure we share important information with our staff members, residents and families.
Emergency Policies and Procedures: With a network of communities that Springpoint oversees, we share best practices and identify opportunities for improvement to be even better prepared for the unexpected.
Full Suite of Healthcare Services: Our vibrant continuing care retirement community offers a variety of senior living options to ensure you continue to thrive no matter where life’s journey may lead you. Our service lines include Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care Home Care, Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation.
COVID-19 Policies: While it’s true that we’re in the midst of a challenging time, staff and residents at Meadow Lakes are a family pulling together, steadfast in our desire to see this through with kindness and compassion. While residents follow the stay-at-home rules and practice proper social distancing, they’re still experiencing the love, care and support of community life. Our dedicated staff has been jumping in to help whenever needed, like delivering meals to residents, offering virtual weekly worship services and Arboretum Director Joe Greipp even takes residents on a virtual tour of the campus in our “Buds and Blooms” series.
We Take Senior Living Security Seriously at Meadow Lakes
Don’t just take our word for it: Resident Barbara Thompson partially moved to Meadow Lakes for the feeling of comfort and security. She shared, “For social activities or if a health issue occurred, I wanted to be in a community where neighbors are nearby and emergency services are close at hand. Here at Meadow Lakes, our private homes are connected with indoor hallways. We have instant assistance at all times with a built-in alert system that provides 24-hour help.”
Contact our team today to learn more and ask any questions you may have. We’re even able to schedule an appointment with you where you can take a virtual tour to get a glimpse of the community from the comfort of your own home.
